Units are employed. The fundamental units in absolute systems are length, time, and mass,
And from these units, the dimension of force is derived. Two absolute systems which have
Been in use for many years are the CGS (centimeter-gram-second) and the MKS (meter-kilogram-second) systems. Another system, known as MKSA (meter-kilogram-second-ampere), links the MKS system of units of mechanics with electromagnetic units.
